How we make money (affiliate disclosure)

Forex.eu.com earns commission from some brokers when readers open accounts through our links. How that works, how we label it and how we keep it separate from our data.

Forex.eu.com is free to use. To pay for research and running the site, we earn money from some of the firms listed in our register.

Affiliate commissions

When you click a Visit button and open an account with a firm that has a commercial agreement with us, that firm may pay us a commission. It can be a one-off payment per new client, a share of revenue, or both. You do not pay more because you came through our link.

How we label it

  • Firms with an active commercial agreement show a gold Partner badge.
  • Outbound links to partners go through a tracked /go/ address and are marked rel="sponsored" for search engines.
  • A short disclosure appears next to partner listings and buttons.
  • A risk warning accompanies every call-to-action for leveraged products.

What commercial relationships cannot change

  • Licence data and the Protection Score, which are calculated from regulatory and corporate data by the same rules for every firm. See our methodology.
  • Whether a firm is listed. We list firms whether or not they pay us – including firms we would not recommend.
  • Warnings. Partners get the same "no European licence on record" warnings as anyone else.

Partners can appear in a separate "Partners" section on the home page and may be given higher placement in our default "recommended" ordering. You can always sort by Protection Score or name instead.

Other income

We may display advertising in clearly labelled spaces. We do not sell personal data.
