Forex.eu.com started in 2020 as a broker comparison site. In 2026 we rebuilt it from the ground up around one question most comparison sites skip: who is actually allowed to hold your money, and what happens if something goes wrong?
What we do
- A public broker register. More than 500 brokers, banks, robo-advisers and crypto platforms that serve European residents, listed whether or not they pay us. Each entry shows the licences we have on record and links to the regulator's own register so you can verify it.
- Investor-protection guides for 32 countries. The regulator, compensation scheme, deposit guarantee, ombudsman, main exchange and an overview of tax on trading gains, for every EU and EEA country plus the UK and Switzerland.
- Regulator profiles explaining the difference between an EU licence, a UK or Swiss licence, and an offshore one.
- Free tools – pip, position-size, ESMA margin, cost, financing, drawdown and currency calculators – built around European account currencies and EU leverage rules.
- Plain-English guides on trading mechanics, strategy and safety, written for people living under EU, UK or Swiss rules.
What we changed in 2026
The previous version of this site ranked brokers in long "best of" lists repeated for each country, and promoted high-leverage offshore offers and bonuses. We removed that content. It did not serve European readers, many of whom cannot legally be offered those products, and it did not meet the standard we want to be judged by. Old pages now redirect to the guide that replaced them.
How we are funded
Some brokers pay us a commission when a reader opens an account through our links. Those firms are labelled Partner, and commercial relationships never affect the Protection Score or the licence data. Read how we make money and our methodology.
What we are not
We are not a broker, an investment adviser or a regulator, and we do not manage money. Nothing on this site is a personal recommendation. We cannot help recover money lost to a scam – but our guide on clone firms and scams explains who can.
Contact
Corrections, especially to licence data, are always welcome: use the "report an error" form on any broker profile or our contact page.
